Seungoh Ryu, the main developer of Honk, has a background in theoretical physics with expertise on parallel computer simulations on high temperature superconductors and flow in porous media. Most recently, one of his Lattice Boltzmann calculations on IBM's BlueGene supercomputer set an industry milestone. Mac has always been the passion from the very beginning of his graduate studies, and over the years, he has developed innovative collaboration programs such as iStorm and iChalk for Mac. In 2010, he founded iStormApps to focus on iOS development and share his decades-long fascination with the relentless pursuit of perfection by developers in the Apple community.
Honk is iStormApps' first iPhone app.
